I research the economics of the energy transition — currently the cost of green hydrogen mandates — drawing on more than a decade of upstream oil & gas operations experience in Indonesia and an MBA focused on energy and sustainability.
About
I am an independent researcher based in Jakarta, Indonesia, working on the economics of the energy transition. My path here runs through more than a decade in upstream oil & gas operations in Indonesia — as a production and petroleum engineer at CNOOC SES and, most recently, as an Artificial Lift Senior Supervisor at Pertamina Hulu Energi OSES — before an MBA at Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School of Business (Energy & Sustainability track) redirected my focus toward energy economics and quantitative research.
I now conduct independent research on hydrogen economics and power sector cost modeling, and am working toward a PhD track in energy economics and policy.
